Information for Virtuoso Members

We are Virtuoso Preferred Supplier Since 1990

Greetings Virtuoso Members - We are WANNA TOURS, the Virtuoso On-Site Representative for Thailand and our emphasis for Virtuoso Members is on operating Private, Tailor-Made Programs in Northern & Central Thailand, as well as Bangkok and it's environs. We are a Fully Licensed and Registered, Independent Tour Operator, based in Chiangmai, Northern Thailand. For over 30 Years we have been offering Private, Tailor-made, Escorted Tour Programs for FIT & Small Group VIP Clients throughout Thailand.

In Addition to this, we are able to offer a similar Private Programs in Laos, Myanmar (Burma), Vietnam & Cambodia through the close co-operation of our associated Representatives in these Countries. Combining these services with our Thailand Programs, means your Clients can have the continuity of very interesting & exciting Private Programs throughout this Unique Region, through just one company - WANNA TOURS - and as we are usually able to arrange all the Hotels, Transportation, Guide, Tour Services, for your Clients Private Programs, this cuts down on your work-load as only one booking through us can cover their whole trip in this Region.

Our Private Programs are put together using our extensive local knowledge gained by "hands on" practical experience, listening to You and to Our VIP Guests comments from the USA, Europe, Australia, Central & South America, for over 30 Years. The very nature of our Private Programs does ensure a high degree of flexibility, and that your Clients are well taken care of - returning home feeling they have been shown around by friends rather than having been on a "tour"!!!.

Touring in Thailand

All our trips are operated Privately, that is to say just your Clients, accompanied throughout the trip (in Thailand) by their personal, highly knowledgeable & qualified English Speaking Guide, with Private Air-conditioned vehicles and experienced drivers (NOT joining with a larger Group or Bus Tour !!). This enables our Guide to listen and react to your Clients needs, adjusting the Program if necessary (within reason !!) to ensure they get the most out of their stay in Thailand.

Although our Touring Programs may look "Fully Organized", they are in fact quite flexible, in general, Clients can discuss the specific aspects of their daily sightseeing with their Guide on arrival, who will cater to their interests wherever possible. Also your Clients would generally have the same Guide to accompany them in Bangkok & Northern Thailand - From experience we find this continuity is very much appreciated by all our Guests (and of course less work for you !!).

Note. In the Southern Beach Resorts of Thailand (Phuket, Koh Samui, Krabi, etc.) we generally do not provide any Guide or Touring Services (Since most Clients know what to do at the Beach !!!). The Beach Resorts we recommend will be able to provide Private Airport Transfers and any other activities that Clients may wish to do, can usually be arranged without problem through the Resorts.

Touring in Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam & Myanmar

Similarly our Private Programs, which are operated by our associated Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam & Myanmar Representatives, will just be your Clients, accompanied by their qualified English Speaking Guides (Different Guides in Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam & Myanmar) with Private Air-conditioned vehicles and experienced drivers (NOT joining with a larger Group or Bus Tour !!).

Program Examples

Since all of our Private Programs are individually tailor-made for your Clients, we do not operate "set" Tours or have prepared brochures as such. We do however have some "Sample Programs & Trip Ideas" to give you some of our ideas. Also please see our Virtuoso.com-site.

While you could book these as they are, they would more usually, be used a Guideline for you, so that once we have your further information on specific Clients, we would be able to prepare a Private Program, tailored directly to their needs.

We also have Day Excursions Examples from Bangkok & Chiangmai - Again these are essentially for your information so you can see what is available and we would usually combine these into an overall Program for your Clients.

Accommodations

We generally use the best Hotels & Resorts available in the areas we visit, or properties we have personally visited. Brief descriptions, links, etc. of properties that we recommend can be found on our Website: www.wannatours.com/HOTELS.

We do only work with a relatively few of the better Properties in each area and in general will include accommodation in our Private Programs - However if we think you will get a better deal, or if you (or your Clients) wish to take care of the Accommodation directly, we are also happy to provide our Program Proposals without accommodation.

Flights & Cruise Ports

Regional & Domestic Flights
Since Schedules & Costs changing all the time, we are currently no Longer arranging or including Air Tickets in our programs & quotations.

On a practical point, as we are not an Air Ticketing Agency – we do not get any "deals" on Air tickets – and as there is now very little cost difference and Airlines as are continually adjusting Prices online - it is usually easier (and certainly more economical) for you (or your Clients) to book these directly - since you can then adjust to suit your Clients needs, etc.

We can show suggested flights if necessary, to work in with any Private Program Proposed and if we are proceeding, we will need full details of all flights you have booked in order to finalize.

Cruise Ports
For Clients arriving by Cruise Ship, we will need to know ship and docking time. We also will need to know which Bangkok Port your Cruise Ship will be arriving at, as Bangkok currently has several Ports:

Klong Toey is quite close to the City so we would allow around 30 minutes Transfer time to Down Town Bangkok
The 2 Main Ports for the Bigger Cruise Ships are Laem Chabang and Sri Racha. These are both actually some distance to the Southwest of Bangkok - and the transfer time we would need to allow to get to Bangkok Down town from these (more usual) Ports would be at least 2 hours.

Clients available time & dates in this area
International Arrival & Departure Flight details (Bangkok)
Number of Clients in Party and any particular requirements, interests or information that you feel may be relevant

We will respond - by return E-mail (or at least within 48 Working Hours), usually with our proposal, program suggestions, itinerary, prices, etc. based on your information and our experience !!.

If this is then accepted, please advise us, so we can make the necessary arrangements and confirm back to you.
Please remember the more information you give us at the outset – the better we can prepare our Program for your Clients.

All our prices are quoted NETT-Non Commissionable (i.e. The amount we want from you !!), in US$. and as you are dealing directly with us - the Operator, you have a good deal of flexibility in the prices you can offer.

Again as the Thailand Representative of Virtuoso (and formerly API) for over 33 Years, we are well used to taking very special care of your VIP Clients.

Please remember all programs are individually tailor-made for your Clients, based on the information you supply and the very nature of these private trips makes them quite flexible and wherever possible we do try to cater directly to your Clients interests.
