Our Year
Well…. what a year…. 

As you will know, by having our own Business – Our Personal Life is very much tied up with our Business Life –  So when the Economic recession hit the USA (our major Client Base) and the rest of the world – We all had to dig deep and look at some different ideas to keep our Business going...and hence maintain something of a Personal Life !!
We all sat down and had an in-depth review of both Companies and even though we managed to make some cut backs, we also made a positive decision not to cut any staff...
We also realized that this had to be the time for us to promote & market ourselves (a bit more than usual !) –

So what have we been up to this year…..
In January I had a very brief (although very Hot…!!) visit to Adelaide – incorporating a Family Visit with a Sales trip to our main Agents

In March, we were extremely happy to announce that Wanna Tours received Gold Star Accreditation from the Office of Tourism Development, Ministry of Tourism & Sports of Thailand - for Thailand Business Tourism Standard 2009-2011. As one of only 63 Tourism Businesses nationwide, who have attained this certification  - we are naturally very proud to have achieved and been selected as a recipient for this Accreditation (See March 2009 Newsletter)

In June, Wanna & I attended a the Asia Luxury Travel Mart in Shanghai, having never been to Shanghai before (nor attended this particular show), this was an interesting trip – and quite a worthwhile event on the business side for us to attend.

August brought Vachira & Myself to Las Vegas once again (not my favorite City in the world !) for the Virtuoso Travel Mart, this is still an amazing conference and although very tiring (some of us are getting older !!) and quite an expensive trip– the business developed from this is certainly proving worthwhile.

So in spite of everything - quite a busy year for us.. and now we are all hoping that it pays off and gives us a chance for 2010..  So…Thank You all for your Support throughout this very difficult year !
