Season’s Greetings from Chiangmai ...16 degree C here this morning – bright & sunny

Thailand back to Normal (whatever “Normal” is !!)
Well as you all will have seen from our updates during the recent disruptions, the protesters completely dispersed from the Airports on 4th December - and currently all the All Airports and Airlines are all operating as normal..

As of yesterday, we now have a New Prime Minister (Democratic Leader - Abhisit Vejjajiva), and apart from the usual political wrangling, we are essentially back to normal.
 
We do currently have Clients in Bangkok, Chiangmai, Golden Triangle and the Southern Resorts as usual and from a touring perspective, they are not seeing anything different or being affected by any of the recent Political situation …

Hotel Promotions
Due to the current World Economic downturn and in order to “boost” occupancy after the recent difficulties, many Hotels are now offering “Short-term” Promotions & Discounts for New Bookings.

Christmas & New Year
Our Office will only be operating on Minimum Staffing over the Holiday period from 24th December 2008 until 2nd January 2009.
This is essentially for current in-country operations and emergencies only.
… So… Although we will be monitoring e.mails – please excuse any delays in responses from here during this period. ….and …if you do have something urgent in the pipeline or if you do want to finalize anything before then – Please do try to contact us before then ( - as I also doubt anyone else will be working around here over this period…!!).
