26 July 2007

Greetings from Chiangmai ...

Koh Samui Resorts Report
Sorry for the delay….and we now have our “unbiased” Samui Hotel Report viewable at
: Koh Samui Resorts Page

As you will see we have split this into Cliff & Beach properties.
Just to Clarify our definitions - Although, essentially the 2 Top Properties are in the “Cliff’ Category – they do also have Beaches (naturally !!), but most of the Accommodations are situated on the Hillside.
While with the “Beach” Category, the Accommodations are right on the Beach or just a short walk away.

The only additional (Personal) comment to this (you just knew there would be one ..didn't you...!!), - is that I  would wait a couple of Months before you put Clients in the New Four Seasons Koh Samui.....(let the  “Vegetation & Landscaping” have time to Fully Grow).

Bangkok Airways - Chiangmai>Siem Reap Flight
Long last… Bangkok Airways has announced:

Commencing 29th October, Bangkok Airways will launch a new air link from Chiang Mai to Siem Reap, shortcutting a transit in Bangkok to facilitate high season traffic.

The airline continues to strengthen its ‘Boutique’ network in the region by making access to cultural landmarks such as Angkor Wat more readily available.

Bangkok Airways will operate flights twice a week on Thursdays and Saturdays in a 70- seat ATR72. (Flight # PG927).

The flight leaves Chiang Mai at 16:10pm and arrives at Siem Reap at 18:30pm.
This flight is specifically a one way flight.

We will check our Files to see if this will affect any current Private Programs we have confirmed – but as always, if you think this will have an effect on any of your Proposed Clients Trips, then do let us know…

Virtuoso Travel Mart
…as we mentioned earlier Vachira & Myself will be attending the Virtuoso Travel Mart this year (Vachira’s 1st Travel Mart) – So are looking forward to meeting up with many of you personally..

However as you probably realize, both of us actually do most of the work on any Program Proposal – … So…  if you do have anything in the pipeline or if you do want to finalize anything – please do try to contact us before we leave on 13 August, since we will not really be able to do too much work while we are away, until we return on 30 August

That's it for now. Many Thanks and Take Care
David, Wanna & Vachira and all at Wanna Tours
