With “EXPERIENCE” being the prime feature, Elephant Life Experience is a Unique “Hands On” Elephant Program. Guests will have the special opportunity to build closeness to an individual elephant. Not being part of a large crowd will enable the visitor to spend as much time as they wish experiencing elephant life together.. This will build a rapport with the elephant in their natural environment far removed from the usual organized tours of Elephant camps. We offer the visitor the freedom, flexibility and time needed to get closer to nature. |

During your visit, guests will be able to observe and if they wish, to participate with the elephant’s bathing in their natural setting. They will be given knowledge the mahout (the Elephant keeper) has in training, to observe the techniques in controlling the elephant and to try out their skills themselves. The visitor will also be given, to take away, a mahout outfit to wear to make them feel even more comfortable and part of the setting. Guests will be free to take a ride on the elephant, enjoy personalized rafting, and to visit the mahout’s home to experience his duties and lifestyle. We genuinely believe guests will be captivated by the elephant’s painstaking skill as a painter, observed as the picture unravels! Guests will be offered a complementary elephant painting to take as a lasting gift of the unique developing experience. Refreshments will be provided at all times so that you can savor the experience. |

"Elephant Life Experience" Program - A Very Special PRIVATE Half Day Excursion This morning we drive to Private Elephant Life Experience in Mae Taman Valley. On arrival at the Main Lodge, you will be greeted by your Host, introduced to the “Team” and discuss your program. Here you also change into your Mahout’s Outfit (which you get to keep !), and then meet up with your own Elephant and Mahout. The first task will be to get to know your Elephant, by bathing them in the River. We then continue with a basic lesson of Elephant Training techniques including Elephant commands in a special dialect of the Karen Language”. Once this has been mastered, you are off for Short Ride with your own Elephant to practice your skills. There is then also an opportunity to Ride through the Jungle or along the River for about 30 minutes On your return we have time to relax with Refreshments while there is a demonstration of Elephant Artists creating their own Masterpieces…which you can also have a hand in creating (and that you can keep as a unique souvenir of your visit) After saying farewell to your Elephant, we also have the opportunity to visit the Mahout’s living area (to your interest), before returning to the Main Lodge to get changed We then have a nice Picnic Basket Lunch here, after which, we can take a leisurely ride on a bamboo raft, down river for about 30 minutes. This is a wonderful experience to enjoy the beautiful river setting to relax before meeting up with our Vehicle & returning to your Resort. |
